A new Oppo phone got the nod from TENAA, and according to tipster Digital Chat Station it’s going to be called A2 Pro. The Chinese regulatory approved a smartphone with a 5,000 mAh battery, and the leakster stated this smartphone will arrive as early as September 15.

The A2 Pro midranger will have a 6.7” OLED screen with 1080p resolution and up to 120 Hz refresh rate, the certification page reveals. The attached photos show slightly curved sides and a single punch hole for the selfie camera. We can also see three cameras on the back of a circular island.

Digital Chat Station adds 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant of the phone.

The Oppo A1 Pro arrived in November 2022, and it was powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset and supported 67W charging. The A1 series never made it out of China though and we’ll have to wait and see if the A2 changes that.
